The Wedding Planners Institute of Canada (WPIC) and TravelOnly have renewed their exclusive strategic partnership.

Now it is even easier for WPIC members to become certified travel advisors with TravelOnly upon graduation - with the highest supplier commissions, new tools, marketing programs, technology to maximize success and return on investment.

The Canadian Wedding Industry is a $5 billion per year industry and with the pandemic pause in 2020 and 2021, the demand for wedding planners is at an all-time high.

Brides (and grooms) are looking for qualified experts and WPIC offers the most comprehensive wedding planner courses available, including certification for destination wedding coordinators

Over the past five years, the WPIC and TravelOnly partnership has allowed many wedding planners to grow their destination wedding business through joint ventures with established TravelOnly advisors or even become travel advisors themselves.

Now is the time

Both companies agree that now is the perfect time to reinvigorate the program to support the unprecedented demand for destination weddings in 2022:

"We are extremely happy with the success of our partnership over the past 5 years,” said Gregory Luciani, president and CEO of TravelOnly. “The WPIC shares our values of working with experts- consumers need to rely on trained professionals to help them navigate the complexities in this new, post-COVID world. We are on the precipice of the largest destination wedding travel boom in modern history and there is no other company we would rather be working with than this team.”

As part of this new partnership, WPIC graduates will have the opportunity to integrate their new wedding planning businesses by becoming a Travel Advisor with TravelOnly.

As one of the largest host agencies in Canada, TravelOnly offers up to 100% in commission rates, state of the art systems, a virtual travel university, professionally designed consumer websites and the opportunities to work from the comfort and convenience of home.

WPIC graduates will also benefit from FAM trips to exciting and exotic wedding destinations to help them better understand the needs of their future wedding clients and partnerships with boutique and luxury resorts across the world.

They will also be integrated into TravelOnly’s innovative peer-to-peer collaboration environment that provides ongoing support and training to members, 24/7, 365 days a year.

WPIC co-founders Danielle Andrews and Tracey Manailescu were happy to share the news with their members.

"During the past fourteen months we have seen our professional worlds turn upside down. Everything that we have known, expected and relied on has changed. Business relationships have become even more important and quite frankly, invaluable. We have experienced first-hand the value of working together with other wedding professionals over and over again," they said. "We have also seen just how dedicated and hard working the travel industry is. This pandemic has thrown everything at travel advisors and yet they are still here championing for their clients. We are proud to be affiliated with TravelOnly and endorse you fully.  You are true leaders in the industry.

"We are so excited for the reset of weddings, and the future of romance travel. Kudos to all!"
