Transat Travel, the largest Canadian-owned leisure travel brand in Canada, is inviting travel professionals to join its team. Transat, which has operated for over 30 years, provides vacations for millions of Canadians each year through its vertically-integrated business units – Air Transat, Transat Tours and Transat Distribution Canada (TDC). Travel professionals will automatically be included as an ambassador to the Transat Travel Brand by joining the TDC team.
TDC has a universal product offer which allows travel professionals to provide clients with vacations to any destination they wish with any preferred travel supplier. It also features more than 450 retail outlets, with more than 3,500 travel professionals in its group.
A unique sales processing system allows travel agents to easily book clients virtually, while TDC also offers the option of processing clients’ invoicing at no extra charge. Support is offered by two-member service teams, in addition to regional operating teams.
Anita Stephens, the former owner of a small rural agency in Southwestern Ontario, explained her reasons for making the move to Transat Travel agent@home.
“I loved my work and I had built a loyal clientele,” she commented, “however, overhead kept growing and commissions did not.
