AMResorts has been selected as the proud recipient of the Travel Professionals International (TPI) Partnership of the Year, Advisor Choice – Specialty Award.

More than 800 TPI advisors and staff voted to recognize the leading all-inclusive resort company during the 2016 TPI "Sea Change" Cruise Conference aboard the Celebrity Reflection. Brian Joseph, AMResorts’ business development manager for Ontario, accepted the award on the company’s behalf.

“We are honoured to be recognized by our partners at TPI, an organization that is so widely respected in the travel industry,” said Jan LaPointe, senior director of AMRewards and sales & marketing, Canada. “We would like to thank TPI for the recognition, the opportunity to participate in the conference and for their continued support over the years.”

The award comes on the heels of a banner year for AMResorts, TPI said in a statement. By the end of 2016, the company will have opened more resorts than any previous year, bringing its total to 52 resorts across 23 high-demand destinations in six countries. Looking ahead, the company is expected to continue its robust expansion, reaching 60 resorts by the end of 2018 in nearly 30 destinations.
