Just in time for the release of Toy Story 4 next summer, Walt Disney World Resort will open the brand new Toy Story Resort on June 30, 2018.

Yesterday afternoon, representatives from Disney Destinations, including Claire Bilby, senior vice president, sales, service, & events, and Marlie Morrison, managing director, marketing & sales, parks, and resorts for Canada and Asia Pacific, invited approximately 300 travel agents and trade media to the Pearson Convention Center in Brampton for a special unveiling of Disney's new products for 2018 and 2019, the biggest being the reveal of the brand new Toy Story Land.

Set across 11 acres, the concept behind Toy Story Land is a replica of the very same backyard Andy would have played in, featuring larger-than-life building blocks, board game pieces, and all of the beloved characters from Toy Story, including Slinky the Dog, Buzz, Woody, Jessie, and the Green Army Men.

Toy Story Land will boast several attractions, including roller coaster Slinky Dog Dash, the Alien Swirling Saucers, a fun take on the popular spinning teacups ride, and Toy Story Mania, a fast-paced game.

The introduction of Toy Story Land to Walt Disney World Resort is part of an ongoing multi-year reimagination project that will eventually include the all-new 14-acre Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge, as well as Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway, which is the resort's first-ever Mickey-themed ride-through attraction.

"Today, I am here to tell you that that's how we feel about you... we are in this togther, to infinity and beyond. I've been with Disney for almost 30 years, and I've spent most of that time working with you, our travel industry partners. It really is where my foundations, passions, and heart are. My team and I are your advocates and your allies, and we continue our committment to work closely with you, because we want you to know, that you've got a friend in all of us at Disney."
