TL Network Canada's recent in-person events that took place in Toronto, Vancouver and Edmonton were a roaring success, the company says.
Combined, more than 355 agents and 82 supplier partners attended the Canadian fall shows.
This year’s PEAK theme enabled agents to leverage the tools and training available to help grow their business and help our TL Network members across Canada continue their quest to PEAK - “Programmes, Education, Advisors and Knowledge,” while facilitating networking opportunities, supplier partner roundtable discussions and a rewarding trade show.
“Our Canadian Fall Regional Conferences provided excellent opportunities for both our owner/managers and frontline agents to connect in-person with peers, educate themselves about our top-notch agency enhancing programs and to learn how to tailor them to their own business needs,” said TL Network’s Vice-President Christine James. “Events in each city offered a memorable day of innovation, learning and networking that has proven both popular and successful, year after year, and helped agencies get the most out of their valuable TL Network membership while having fun.”
Each Regional Conference challenged TL Network Canada members to leverage the tools and training available to continually help grow their business.
Events featured over three hours of workshops or panels that covered the technology, marketing and selling tools available to members, frontline agency training, and TL Network programme updates.
Following the educational sessions for each event, members met and networked with enthusiastic supplier partners during a one-hour interactive trade show, followed by a full-course plated dinner and fun and interactive game show experience where several grand travel prizes were awarded by our outstanding supplier partners.
New supplier partners welcomed
TL Network welcomed a number of new supplier partners this year, including Hyatt Place Kelowna, to their event in Vancouver.
“We are thrilled to be able to work with TL Network and connect with members from the largest, most diverse sales force in North America to promote our new Hyatt Place brand and hotel in the heart of Kelowna, said Cedric Younge, general manager Hyatt Place Kelowna. “The trade show was invaluable for us, and agents were so enthusiastic to learn more about the property,”
“This was my first time attending the Fall Regional Conference in Toronto and it was an eye- opening experience,” noted Paulo Branco, general manager Ellison Travel & Tours in Exeter, ON. “It was well organized and there was ample time allotted for presentations and the trade show experience, which was invaluable and helped connect us with key suppliers in the travel industry. There were many learnings that can be applied to our business and Christine James, Melissa Wheaton and the TL Network Canada team offered some great ideas to help make us more successful, especially as we recover from this pandemic. I look forward to attending next year’s conference.”
"The TL Network Conference in Vancouver was inspiring, encouraging and engaging,” said Marivic Cregan, manager of New West Holidaytrips in New Westminster, BC. “The quality of all attendees and exhibitors at the trade show showed the power of resiliency. I’m very excited to be a member and introduce our team to the new learnings from this Conference so that we can continue to grow and keep one step ahead of the competition. TL Network has got this!”
