New Orleans is welcoming the rest of the U.S. – and the world – to IPW 2016, and PAX is on location all this week!

Hosted by the U.S. Travel Association, the biggest annual U.S. travel show welcomes hundreds of exhibitors and representatives from each state’s tourist boards and various travel attractions, as well as more than 6,400 buyers, suppliers and media from around the world, taking part in purchase appointments, educational seminars, tours, and of course, various functions held throughout the week.

This year’s show officially got underway with both a media brunch – featuring performers exhibiting the various sounds of New Orleans music scene, from its African-Caribbean roots to gospel, jazz and zydeco to contemporary rock - followed by the official opening party at the Superdome.

There’s plenty more to come this week, so stay tuned to PAXnews.com as well as our Facebook, Twitter and Instagram feeds!
