IATA postpones PCI DSS compliancy deadline for ACTA members

IATA postpones PCI DSS compliancy deadline for ACTA members

ACTA members will now have until March 2018 to comply with IATA’s Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS), originally set to be implemented on June 1.

According to ACTA, the June compliance deadline was identified in recent weeks as a “serious concern” among ACTA members, prompting a request for greater clarity around PCI Compliance requirements and request that the deadline be extended.

Measures will still need to be taken by members to ensure compliance before the new deadline of March 2018.

ACTA will be hosting a webinar in July and offering additional educational resources, including an FAQ, for members regarding the PCI DSS standard.
