The Kentucky Department of Travel and Tourism recently hosted a FAM trip for Canadian industry partners, exploring the state's key cities and travel draws.
Throughout the five-day trip, representatives from CAA South Central Ontario, CAA Niagara, Royal Scenic and Senior Discovery Tours experienced Kentucky’s 'Unbridled Spirit.' An educational and fun-filled itinerary with tours and bourbon Tastings at New Riff, Evan Williams and Willett Distilleries.
The group visited Newport, Covington, Louisville, Lexington, Georgetown and Shaker Village. Some key highlights of the FAM included the Muhammad Ali Center, the Louisville Slugger Museum, Darley Farm for up-close views of award winning, multi-million dollar stallions and a visit to Old Friends Farm, a retirement facility for thoroughbreds whose racing and breeding careers have come to an end.
