“You’ve earned your spot here,” said Steven Larkin, director, sales - Canada for Delta Air Lines, speaking to the recipients of this year’s Agency Elite Awards presented by Delta Air Lines in partnership with joint-venture airlines Air France, KLM, and Alitalia.
Around 70 upper management and executives from Canada’s top-performing travel agencies and travel management companies gathered at Thomson Landry Gallery in Toronto’s Distillery District for the Tuesday afternoon (Dec. 3) luncheon, now in its fourth year.
The elegant affair welcomed a guest list of new accounts and first-time winners – all of whom, collectively, accounted for $300 million in global revenue over the past 12 months.
“We value each and every dollar you gave us this year,” Rob LeBel, managing director specialty & Canada sales at Delta Air Lines told guests, who were treated to cocktails, live music and a lunch that used locally-sourced ingredients.
