Club Med signs on for Facebook at Work

Club Med has signed on to become the first global tourism company to incorporate the Facebook at Work app, a workplace-specific version of the social network which was announced earlier this year.

The company will offer the app to approximately 13,000 employees working in more than 40 countries around the world, Club Med said.

The app, geared toward mobile devices and specially designed for businesses to foster connection amongst employees, will be used by Club Med to connect staff at its 66 villages in an effort to share knowledge with the ultimate goal of enhancing the guest experience.

Announced in January, Facebook at Work is set to launch in the coming months, with companies such as Heineken and the Royal Bank of Scotland already set to adopt the technology.
