AIC Hotel Group, owner of Hard Rock Hotels, will undergo a big expansion of its property portfolio in the coming months.
Multiple properties are set to open in a number of destinations, including the Dominican Republic, Mexico and the U.S. Here is an overview of what AIC has in store for 2016:
The new UNICO Hotel Riviera Maya is scheduled to open at the end of the year. It will feature 448 rooms and a full range of various restaurants, pools with cabanas, three bars, two swim-up bars and a cigar bar. Other facilities on site include a meeting centre, fitness centre, a full service spa with hydrotherapy facilities, high-end boutiques and much more.
Hard Rock Hotel Los Cabos
Located on the shores of Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, Hard Rock Hotel Los Cabos will feature 600 rooms, six restaurants, and two sections, one for families and one for adults only.
Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Santo Domingo
Currently under construction, this luxury Hard Rock property will feature 400 rooms, a casino and world-class restaurants and bars, including the Cigar Lounge and the Speakeasy.
Nobu Hotels and Eden Roc Resort Miami Beach recently unveiled their plans for this new property, which will open in fall 2016.
Chef Nobu, Robert DeNiro and Meir Teper are the owners and brains behind the highly anticipated project. This will be the second hotel to open in the United States under the Nobu Hospitality brand.
The new Eden Roc Miami Beach Hotel will introduce the "hotel within a hotel" concept with the Nobu Hotel Eden Roc Miami Beach. The hotel will feature 210 rooms, Nobu’s signature restaurants and bars, 20,000 square foot spa and fitness, over 70,000 square feet of meeting space and two luxury pools.
Nobu Los Cabos
Nobu Hospitality has also announced the Nobu Los Cabos in collaboration with RCD Resorts. This will be the first Nobu property in Mexico. Scheduled to open in 2017, the hotel will be located on the shores of Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. The 200-room property will be the ninth hotel in the Nobu Hospitality brand.
